I am having a problem with my downloads and reading some of my pdf files. I can not watch the videos I have because I keep getting an error code that just says Quick time player not properly installed error code '0'. When I open the menu it shows that Quick Time Player is there.

When I click on Quick time in the menu it shows the following, quick time player, about quick time, picture viewer, quick time player, & uninstall quick time. I have clicked on all but uninstall and can not see what is wrong. NOTE;I am the original computer DUMMYso it is very likely I did something wrong. I have been using this computer about 4 years and this started about 2 weeks ago. Do you know when this problem began (2-3 weeks ago)? Try a System Restore to a point in time BEFORE the problem began.

If the first attempt fails, then try an earlier point or two. NOTE: You will have to re-install any software and updates you installed between now and the restore point, but you can use Windows Update for the updates. The recovery disk works a bit different from the above procedures but if you follow the prompts from the System Restore menu option with the above information you should be able to restore with no problems. This will uninstall quick time player if you choose the correct restore point. Then download it again and try to re-install it to see if that helps (maybe the original download was corrupt). When installing, right click on the download and click on run as Administrator to see if that helps.
