Driver Side Deployment Loop Open
• 400 Answers SOURCE: B0012 is a fault on the DRIVERS side, you sure you read the code right? If it is a B0012 then any of the wiring could be suspect the coil or the air bag it's self. I have seen a couple of cars coming with this code and I found the wires coming out of the air bag in the steering wheel to be rubing where they go through the steering wheel into the colume, may want to check there first. Report back if the code is something else so we can try and assist you. Posted on Oct 18, 2009.
• 22 Answers SOURCE: This is usually due to an airbag deployment. It's the code for the front left circuit (driver's side).

Most likely, the driver's side airbag deployed and the bag and module were replaced, but the module circuit ring in the column wasn't replaced. Download matlab 2017 full crack. When the module senses the need to deploy, it sends a signal to the ring opening the line for the current to flow and causes the bag to deploy. Problem is, the circuit stays open, and casues a fault code. The unfortunate part is, until the curcuit is replaced, the SRS system in inoperable and will not deploy again in the event of an accident.

You'll have to have the steering wheel pulled to service this item and should be done by a certified technician. It can be expensive, but worth the price of your safety.

Check wiring for damage disconnect and reconnect the wire at buckle sometimes will build up resistance and can set the light. The most likely cause is a defective buckle. The airbag system wants to know that seat belt is buckled this is why it is related to airbag system. There is a special tool to plug in to test components that will simulate them and turn light out but only a dealer will have it. If you see no damaged wires it is most likely the buckle itself.
Posted on Nov 02, 2010. DTC B0058 Right Front/Passenger Pretensioner Deployment Loop Open. The passenger seat belt pretensioner deployment loop consists of a seat belt pretensioner-RF and the seat belt pretensioner-RF high and low circuits. A shorting bar used within the seat belt pretensioner connector shorts together both the seat belt pretensioner high and low circuits when the connector is disconnected.
This will help to prevent unwanted deployment of the pretensioner during servicing. During a frontal crash of sufficient force the inflatable restraint sensing and diagnostic module (SDM) will allow current to flow through the deployment loop in order to deploy the seat belt pretensioner. The SDM performs continuous diagnostic tests on the deployment loops to check for proper circuit continuity and for shorts to ground or voltage. If a malfunction is detected, a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) will be stored in memory. DTC B0084 Left Front/Driver Seat Position Sensor Circuit The inflatable restraint seat position sensor (SPS) is used to determine the proximity of a front driver or passenger seat position with respect to the frontal air bag. The SPS interfaces with the sensing and diagnostic module (SDM). The state of the SPS allows the SDM to disable stage 2 of the frontal air bag for a front seat that is forward of a forward/rearward point in seat track travel.
